Guild Wars 2

This happened to me on my minion master and I assumed lifesteal had broken the encounter. Luckily the little buggers do enough lifesteal damage that I could kill it w/o breaking vortexes.

This zone is a spectacular fail and one I’m happy to pass on.

It’s been two weeks since you acknowledged the bug and said a fix is in the works, is anyone REALLY working on fixing it?? I don’t feel like even trying to do the achievements or try the story with another character to get the other shoulder skins before I know I won’t have to spend ages whittling down the annoying boss or restarting again and again.

Arenanet please, you already released the next chapter, how about trying to fix the previous one.

Have to agree. That shoulder skin was the only reason i bothered to play the story of the recent LS anyway.
Which should give people a hint of how little excited i am for the next chapter.

A shallow story ontop of bugged mega long boss fights. Sorry, but that ain’t a good sign. Not gonna rave about quitting the game, but feedback is needed.

At the moment i think i will just wait for the light chest in episode 8, buy that with
bandit crests and ignore all further instances.

I got a different problem in Hidden Arcana.
I have already beaten it, as well as the achievements, but now on a replay I cant get past Ogden.
The dialogue window in which he tells you to examine the hourglass comes up, closes instantly and gets replaced by one in which you can ask Ogden about elder dragons, zephyrites and corruption.
I cant continue from there, because I cant use the hourglass.

Didtn see your post. Just made one about this myself. I get the same bug. The dialogue box for hourglass pops up for 1/10th of second, but cant click on it. then goes to the lore discussions.

Ditto. Could have sworn I did this already on an alt. Logged it up for the new stuff and its progress set it back to the start of the last update? Also, it pops me into Hidden Arcana with the run Achievements icons up, even though I’ve done them on my main.

Went back a few hours later, seems to be okay now. *shrug*

Same issue as Schlochtenberg.1452, really annoying because I can’t get the luminescent shoulders now. Please fix this soon!!!

With a friend In story mission Hidden Arcana, at the boss fight -Malevolent Memory,
one of the Vortex Crystals spawned right near the boss so as you went into it you died instantly.

Strange. ive tried numerous times.. I get the first boss and the rest dont show up. Stuck at 2nd boss that never shows.. Read this forum. Not stuck in wall or anything. Its like the boss just doesnt appear at all. Ive spent 4.5 hours today replaying this over and over.. Same thing. I guess Im not supposed to get the shoulders. Just have to skip this Sotry and move on to the newer chapter. Its bs.

Its not bugged, at beggining of exploding crystals field, Their is a shimmering box, stand inside and you will receive a Fragile buff, get too The Vortex crystal and it kills in instantly, Hope this solves the problem for you guys.

Nope .. fragile buff only made me knock back whenever i try to attack .. and also with
ranged attacks the mob simply heals up after 2-3 attacks.

Well apparently they never fixed this issue, cause I just got to this fight and the vortex appeared right inside the green beam, I could not get close to to the vortex since the green beam kept on knocking me back. Now I have to start all over again which this is a very long instance and I will be kittened if I have keep on doing this instance till I simply get lucky to beat it. Easy fix, just get rid of the knock back on those beams.

Same bug for me. i’m stuck here. I tried 5 times. same bug.
please fix it…..
