This achievement is bugged on me ever since Arenanet released laurel in game I did dailies everyday to get the laurel but on that hint completion achievement. It says I never got a laurel yet since it didn’t give me check mark right next to it… and another one with pet swap button which is F4 i tried to get it several times by switching pet on ranger also didn’t give me check mark. There is nothing i can do to get this achievement. I am wonder if anyone else is having same issue because I checked someone elses acct and that acct got those two check marked no problem. I hope to get them fixed.

I have the same issue, there hasnt been an official answer by the devs, this was reported about 2 months ago.

I can help you with the ranger pet,
to get the ranger pet swap hint, you are required to let your pet die and not swap it. after a few seconds the hint will appear.

as for laurels I myself have the same issue

It took me 16 months to finally get my last hint. It isn’t any particular hint, but that it bugs out on the last 1-3 hints. There are countless threads about it, some very long. My last missing hint was for mail.

If you ever do happen to get the hint tooltip to show up, make sure to click the X and not the window, as clicking the window won’t count towards Hint Completion, as well.

I am still waiting to get my hint done for opening an acheivement chest. Playing since the headstart.
