Hello there,

As soon as it occured I reported it ingame, after a while tried this over the english support, then reported it ingame again because i was told so, tried the german support after another while but no one could help me, just getting the same old standard notification to report ingame bugs in the game. It’s not that I didn’t try this myself, but because ingame you don’t get a respond and it may even be a single person bug I tried the support. Anyways I got an extra hint to try it in the forums so here I am.

Ingame there are 82 Hints. I had really quick the first 80 and only had to do 2 more.
Because it was the “Pet Swap” for the Ranger and the “Return to the PVP lobby” I first swapped to my lvl 2 Ranger went to the Mysts (because there are all the pets) tried a bit around because the normal pet swap did not trigger the achievement instantly. I think a dead pet worked after a while. Then I went back to my thief played one round sPvP, returned to the lobby and got the hint and the game checked them off but my achievement did not refresh itself to 82 and is now on 80/82 forever.
Did anyone else had or does have this problem? I double-checked and compared to the list on the wiki, it’s all there I even counted and if I was correct i counted 83 hints.

Any help would be appreciated!

I remember reading in the Wiki that the Hint achievement is largely bugged, but is possible if you’re lucky.

For me, specifically, my mailbox only goes to 9/10 so I am unable to get that hint. Additionally, I have one “missing” achievement. There are 82, yet it says I’m at 79 even though I’m only missing the Warrior and Full Mailbox achievement.

Hey so you would also be at 80/82 after the mail.
Try this. Delete all green star mails, for those will not count to a full box but will block it too. Then let some1 write you a 10th letter. After this complete a heart or trigger a green star mail (i know you would need a specific story mission to do that), that should(!) do the trick.
Does not solve the problem of getting 82/82. Any1 else more information?

I had the very exact same issue, the very exact same hint to complete as last – the ranger pet swap – and went to do it in the mists as well. The only difference is that i’m stuck at 81/82 now, with everything ticked off…

I am very surprised that I still have not completed hint Pvp folder – Kill the downed player with F key… I killed a lot of players via F key and still I do not have this hint completed :-/ the similar problem is in Laurels.. I earned Laurels for Pvp, Pve and I spend the Laurels for crap and I did not get hint…
Something is wrong…

PS: Would be fine any details info about these hints… this page is good “http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Hints” but would be fine these details posted from “makers”

I have one that never updates.
Under Items & Equipment the “Laurels” one is never checked off. I get Laurels everyday with daily and I also spend them. Anyone else have this or know if it’s a bug or a way to update it?

Lakland, that one didn’t check off for me until I clicked on the “You have received a laurel!” bubble that kept popping up. Maybe they thought I hadn’t read it until I clicked on it. I don’t know. Hope that works for you.
