In the Hints window under social it is impossible to obtain the hint for Full Mailbox.
Normally this isn’t a problem, however, for those trying to finish achievements this prevents someone from completing the achievement under Hero called Hint Completion.

I too don’t get that hint when full mailbox..
I also want to add that even though the only 2 hints I am missing is full mailbox and pet swap for rangers, my hero tab achievement hint completion says 77/82..

So I really don’t understand what happened, if I count the hints I SHOULD have more than 77, but the tracker apparently does not think so

I was eventually able to get the full mailbox, but I had to get it to full, leave it full, do several heart quests, and while reading one of those it went ‘Oh hey.. you’ve had a full mailbox for like.. 2 hours. Here’s your hint’.

Yup, that worked for me as well. I simply left my inbox jam packed, played per normal, and after a while received the hint pop-up, and with it the achievement.

Same problem with me, I needed the last one for Messemer so I made one and got the last hint 82/82. Logged back in few hours later and it’s back to 81/82 with all check marks showing in the hint tab with no achievement!

Same issue as you. All hints checked but the achivement says 81/82.

Also getting this problem with the pet swap, finishing a foe and full mail box, i will try the above solution for finishing a foe and see if it works.

I just wanted to say that I am another stuck on Hint Completion.
I have a fully checkmarked hint window, but Hint Completion is stuck at 78/82.

Same here, i got full mail and Gem store hint stuck.

I have this problem too, my mailbox is considered full at 9/10 and I can never get the hint of the full mailbox.

I’ll just add myself to the list here. Got stuck at 79/82 although I found all my hints.

I got it showing correct count but can not seem to trigger pet swap. I thought it may have been due to HoM pets so ran around Hoelbrak and got all those and still to no avail. Tried letting my pet die to trigger and tried doing it at guessed critical life as well.

“Pet Swap” hint still does not work. And this is so much since the release. Shame on you, ANet

Apparently I haven’t seen the hint about laurels. I have an ascended item I bought with laurels. kitten ?

Stuck at 82/83 hints. I’m stuck on the broken armor hint. I’ve had broken armor several times in an attempt to finish the hint. Nothing seems to work. No hint pops up, the armor indicator flashes and I’ve repaired the armor. Still nothing.

Anyone?

So this doesn’t get lost I must post gain.

I’ve reported the bug for the broken armor hint at least 3 times.

Is there a secret to completing this achievement?

Still bugged – Finisher, Pet Swap and Pet Panel for me…

I’ve been stuck on the ‘Full Mailbox’ hint for most of a year. =(

Did the trebuchet in the mists testing area… no 83/83 still 82/83

I got the full-mailbox one – I deleted everything from my mailbox then got guildies to send me 11 mails – and it worked.

Still stuck with Pet Panel and Pet Swap

Got the Pet Swap hint to work following other posts:

1) Order your pet to attack something.
2) Let it “die”.
3) Kill the monster.
4) As pet is “ressing” itself (the red bar is regenerating), wait for hint to appear, then press F4 to switch to the other pet.

This worked for me.

Still not got pet Panel working yet

And got pet panel working

I had to delete and re-create my ranger. Then I charmed another pet but didn;t manually open the pet panel at all.

A few minutes later I got the hint.
