HoM rewards
Once the Devs address the issue that the bug with HoM APs caused, I’m sure they will let us know either with an announcement, post, or in the Patch Notes.

It’s not a trivial thing to fix and it’s even more complicated to roll it back properly. They not only have to restore the content, they have to remove the rewards and AP from people who got them without scoring enough HoM/GWAMM points in GW1. Under ideal conditions (no other bugs for the ‘live’ team), I can’t imagine it taking less than 3-4 weeks to identify the root cause, test a fix, develop the rollback script, and test that, all the while making sure that there are no additional side effects and no one is ‘rolled back’ who wasn’t supposed to be.
tl;dr we are going to just have to be patient.
(That said, I do wish the devs would post an update about their progress.)

Why not just ban those people who got it for free who didn’t even make any effort to gain those titles, skins, and achievement points? I heard rumors that is what they were gonna do since it’s an exploit…

Because most of them didn’t do it on purpose; they made new characters, finished hte starting instance, and suddenly got GWAMM without meaning to. It would be pretty crappy to ban innocent people.
