HoM transmutation doesn't work any more
Did you try it by unequiping the armor/weapon you want transmuted? I had to do that yesterday after the change that came with the patch.
There is a patch note specifically mentioning that you cannot transmute items that are equipped.
This makes transmuting items specially from the HoM so tedious I find myself not wanting to use it anymore.
Ok I get it its part of the latest patch change but what I don’t get is why? Was there some kind of an exploit that needed to be fixed this way? Now basically if you want to do several transmutations in a row you have to transfer every piece of the equipment to the inventory, activate the stone, transmute the item and then put it back where it was. Basically four steps instead of the previously two? Why?
There was a bug in game that had to do with transmuting with items that you couldn’t use (like cultural armor from other races) that made your character naked, from what I’ve heard this was a quick fix for that one.
wrapped up in some crazy ritualist hoo-ha from Cantha.
A real grab bag of ‘you can’t hurt me. They’re called Guardians.

Surely you jest, it’s 2 more button clicks
NO transmute stones are working currently inc HoM’s have posted several bug reports about it as well
@praeclarus
Not if you are after transmuting your whole armor That’s 20 clicks more at least

I do not jest. Its quite annoying to make something that was simple harder to do when it should not be harder to do.
Also its a drag and a double click.
My real problem is that its not a “fix” its a patch on a wound where they should have actually fixed the wound.
Right click → unequip
And it’s definitely just a patch on the wound, until they find a better way to prevent the other glitch. It’s probably temporary, and shouldn’t really affect you too much.
