Just to make sure.. was this fix about the returned fog on the map or about the missing reward from completing the map? because my friends and I still don’t have the map completion rewards

yup fixed. wish we got a ingame message first… was shocked and put in a ticket…

I hope so. Me and my friends have been affected by this and we’re getting anxious to actually do the map comp. My question is are we gonna be compensated for those of us who did the map completion but did not get the rewards? Just wanna make sure.

all character with 100% tyria…

Could not send an PM to you Bill, but my character “Illusjonist” is still affected. Non of the new zones have given rewards.

TKIB, there are no map rewards for Southsun Cove, Silverwastes, or Dry Top. They were extensions of the original map and weren’t designed to give rewards for completion, as they don’t contribute towards getting 100% in Central Tyria.

That’s not what this fix was for. As he noted, what you require, along with many of us, will be in an upcoming patch.

So…those of us who have been effected by the map completion reward bug aren’t getting compensation and are instead being told to just “wait til a possible fix comes out”, again? I feel like I’ve heard this before.

I completed VB 100% map in HoT about 1 week ago got zero reward. Completed AB map about one hour ago got no reward as well. I’m working on my last mastery track for the elite spec collection…ill be pretty salty if a bug prevents me from getting that collection reward if a fix isn’t in place by the time i finish the last mastery.

I 100% completed Verdant Brink the other day and haven’t had a problem with fog, but didn’t get a reward. I wasn’t sure if that was intended or was a bug.

Is that the 100% reward that is being referred to in this thread – lack of reward for completing the new maps? Or is this thread referring to something that pertains to 100% FULL WORLD map completion?

I got 99% on VB map only need 1 hero point waiting for fix. Hopefully they will fix it next patch like Bill said.

This is not the same issue. And we have been told that it will be fixed next release.

I dont want a hand out for map completion screwing me over for 2 weeks but it did push me away from gw2 again because its like we got something good and i still got screwed by it 2 maps done and 80% almost on a 3rd no rewards on thief alone its the only specialization weapon i actually want(ed)
This was done 2 weeks ago before cold turkey quitting coming back with short term goals to try to stay interested hopefully into the fix so i can continue gw2 life

I didn’t receive reward chest for Verdant Brink Map completion . I find this sad.
I stopped doing map completion just beating a dead horse trying to stay interested in the game now.
