i know the difference between data mined chat codes and actual items and events happening inside the game that one can log in and try out them selfs right now.

i heard some people saying they can see the revenant class inside the create new character window (tho you cant actually create one).

I havent seen this my self as i have no free char slots left.

Another thing i personally found is something that might be related to some part of HoT’s storyline.
I wanted to report this inside the game report thing..but the support is kinda messed up atm.

Am i allowed to discuss such a “find” on the forums?

The reason why i think it might be a part of the HoT’s story is cause:
1) normally the you cant interact with the object
2) Normally there is a npc person inside that room interacting with the object…there isnt one at this moment.
3) The object, the interaction options , as well as the ITEM you receive from the object have ((numbers)) in their titles and description.

The Revenant is definitely lurking in Char creation screen has a nice text about needing to upgrade to HoT on it as well, can’t do anything with it though completely unselectable (which is somewhat surprising with everything that is broken right now, at least they got something right).

My suggestion, send a PM to a dev on the forums about your find (someone who frequents the bugs forum would be a good pick, Gaile Gray would be another possibility). That is in all honesty the best thing you can do about it with the in-game reporter as broken as it is right now.

I honestly don’t get they have been so careful lately about not putting anything unnecessary to the dat file with living story, why now this motherlode of data that we really do not need on live yet. Just strange.

The double parentheses is placeholder or unlocalized text as far as I know. So whatever they say isn’t supposed to be there on live.

well…like i said. i understand data mined skins,textures and chat links. But i belieave i found a actual place that got updated the same way fort salma got updated with the living world..

I think I stumbled upon this too. As excited as I was by all the numbers I deleted the item it gave me (and refuses to give me again) and then I left. I think this surprised me more than the myriad other bugs and issues with this update.

Another interesting thing: go to Bug Report tool and check each of the sub-areas for each category… Surprise
