One of the new achievements for Head of the Snake is to stop White Mantle and skritt from stealing supplies from a wrecked ship. I just completed the event without any supplies being stolen by the White Mantle, but the achievement in my hero panel does not reflect that (it’s still greyed out). Also, I’ve been camping by the wrecked ship for a few hours and have yet to see any skritt attempt to steal supplies, it’s only been the White Mantle thus far. Unless there are other events I’ve yet to experience that lead to skritt stealing supplies?

Edit: Apparently the skritt event only happens when the White Mantle have control of Saidra’s Haven. As the map is so populated right now, I guess that’s why that part of the achievement is a no-go.

Also, after trying for the White Mantle part of the achievement a few more times, I think the event has some scaling/spawn issues. Even with just a few players (less than 10), champs start to spawn frequently. Pretty soon there are 5 or 6 champs trying to make off with supplies at the same time, but not enough players to really do anything about it before the supplies are gone.

tl;dr The event scales too high and too fast, with too many enemies to successfully complete the event without any supplies being stolen. And even if you do happen to successfully complete the event, it may not count for the achievement.

Havent mbeen able to get this done either.

And NOTHING slows those White Mantle guys down. You can’t pull them with scorpion wire. You can’t knock them back with hammers. They are pretty much immune to everything. The number of enemy that spawn is always scaled to be higher than what you can kill.

I think the bug that makes you not get credit is that you move the bar more to the right for returning supply than the white mantle stealing that supply moves it to the left. So the result is that the bar might appear full when the White Mantle has stolen five supply and you’ve recovered four. But you are still out one supply, only the bar is full as if you had lost none.

Has anyone figured out the trick to this yet? I tried multiple times last night with whatever PUG could join me and the white mantle is just impossible to slow down. Like nutjob, I use my 3 CC skills and the break bar is maybe 33% damaged. They just have too much HP, it’s impossible now that Doric is already emptied and everyone left after getting the achievement.
