I’m having huge fps drops from time to time and i don’t know why or how to fix them.
I run on high/ ultra with:
Amd fx 8350 on 4.0ghz
Gigabyte r9 290x windforce OC with 4gb gddr 5
Ram ballistix razor 8gb

Overheating is not a problem since i don’t use stock cooler, and i’ve installed aditional fans.

All drivers are up to date.

Just cause you do not use stock cooling and added fans doesnt mean its not a cooling issue.

Download GPU-Z, CPU-Z, HWinfo, Coretemp and with GW2 running in a window take a screenshot of each of those applications. for GPU-Z grab a screenshot of both the Main tab and Sensors tab.

that will tell us what we need to know.

I’ve been having huge fps drops too and this has never happened to me before. It’s only since the last patch dropped. I’ll try those things to see if it’s a pc problem.
