…and improvement suggestions. I do not quite understand why the armor art sticky was removed, so I’m creating a separate topic as instructed. If a mod considers it necessary, please merge this thread with other appropriate thread. Also, please forgive me my wonky English, it’s not my first language.

I decided to consider some features I point out here as bugs, though they’re not jarring like excessive clipping of some other armor art out there, but they’re annoying on another level.

My suggestions are only this, suggestions, I was trying to suggest changes that would be least intrusive to the original design, to which users of this armor already got used to, and as much detached from my personal preferences as I they can be.

1. (Bug) The earring is barely visible due to dyes almost completely having no effect on it. It’s the only armor witch such feature, yet it’s completely invisible under some hairstyles (this is I guess unavoidable) and hair colors (as seen on middle picture, I didn’t noticed the earring on the previews, I saw it only after looking on other players closeup pictures).

Suggestion:

  • making the earring brighter and dye accurately to used color.
  • creating fourth dyeable area just for the earring.

2. (Bug) The skirt is stiff. Its stiffness and balloon size looks completely silly while character is moving around, especially from behind, and the back of our PCs is the thing we look on for the most of time!
I’m not sure if the size is connected to character’s body type of choice, but it seems like for this particular body type, all leggings seem a size too large, resulting in huge gaps between upper and lower parts of the armor at the waistline, and often holes: http://i.imgur.com/FzCEGgZ.jpg

Suggestion:

  • changing the size of the skirt to make it less puffy, of gather some parts into folds to make it resemble cloth, and not paper.
  • rigging the skirt to add more cloth-like and not a sculpture feel, preferably by making use of Havoc, like for many other armors in the game.

3. (Bug) This part is still a sleeve. It also successfully prevents player from possibility to mix with gloves from the other sets. Also, when gloves are hidden, or used with particular gloves set, part of the wrist mesh disappears completely, creating a gap of invisible mesh of doom on character’s hand.

Suggestion:

  • separating indicated part from the sleeve mesh and attaching it as a part of the glove, making the part dyeable along with the ring.

4. (Suggestion) Highlighted part of the gaiters dyes along with the ornament on the belt, which resembles more metallic material than a cloth. Consider separating this part of the gaiters as fourth dyeable area.

5. (Suggestion) The skin visible on character’s back is distracting and seems completely unnecessary. It also makes the “cut at the waist” armor parts more jarring, and discourages from mixing armor sets. While the front looks great, the back resembles me this: http://i.imgur.com/DlyXT4l.jpg
Consider matching the length to the front, similar to Heritage corset, which just covers the waistline.

6. (Suggestion) This part of the sleeve is connected to the stripey part #3, it could be nice if they were separated, and with added animation like the sleeves of the cabalist armor.

While I know nothing of this may be considered by devs as an issue, I silently hope for some improvements to this set of armor. Cultural armors represent, well, culture of the race, and some level of prestige, and while T2 light is already pretty and detailed (because don’t get me wrong – I adore this set), it’s also completely stiff like made of cardboard. I chose it as I like my toons to look elegant, and practical, without the need to don a battle lingerie.
