My character is a human and is up to Chapter 6 of the story, everything was ok up to the “Killing Fields” story mission. After this mission was “Defence Contract” and this is where the problem starts.
So here’s what happened, my friend who is playing as a Sylvari also had the same Story quest as me, “Defence Contract”, and we went and did the quest together in the same instance, an instance which he started.
I don’t fully remember what happened but here’s what I think happened. So at the end of this quest, the game asks me if I want to finish this quest or stay and leave it uncompleted. I pressed yes, thinking that ‘Cool, I don’t have to do this quest again and now I can start the next mission of the Human personal story", but after leaving the instance it showed me the waypoint for the next mission was in “The Grove” with a mission called “A Light in the Darkness”.
This really puzzled me and so I went there with my friend to check it out. We completed the quest with me starting the instance this time. We completed it and now I have the next mission in the Sylvari story “Under Siege” telling me to meet with Trehearne. This is really upsetting and frustrating as the Personal Storyline for my Human was something I really enjoyed in the game, and now it’s just gone I’ll never get to see it through.
Long story short:
My human character’s story has now switched to Sylvari story after partying together. But I want to continue my Human Story.
If anyone could please help, I would really appreciate it. Is there anything I can do to rollback or abandon the last 2 missions I did? Maybe even restart Chapter 6 if I have to. Thanks to anyone reading this!
