So I encountered a bug thats preventing any story progress.. The level 78 quest Hunters and Prey.. At the part where you fight the spiders and the Whisper Agent is supposed to die after you kill the spiders the Priory Explorer revives her thus preventing events from triggering.. I have tried walking around and triggering the fight then fighting the spiders but it still occurs! Sometimes even Kekt doesn’t completely die… Anet has to seriously fix this I couldn’t believe they left such a huge bug in the game… Remove NPC revive behavior for this quest!!!

I’m afraid I don’t quite understand the issue you’ve run into. She’s not rezzable after being killed by the spiders, and it wouldn’t block the story step that I can see. What’s your current objective?

If kekt was supposed to die, you would never been able to ress him and neither would the npc.


Kekt doesnt really die until the last part, when Ferghen reanimates after taking him down once

The spiders are an earlier step in the storyquest and you have to kill enough for the next step to trigger.
