Hi, my server been having some major issues in acquiring that achievement, since I believe it is bugged.
As part of the “The Campaign Against Taidha Covington” meta, it consists of five parts:
- Defend Lionguard supplies from the Inquest assault (49)
- Eliminate the cannons at the northern defensive tower (49)
- Capture Taidha Covington’s southern defensive tower (49)
- Defend the galleon and help it destroy Taidha’s gate (50)
- [Group Event] Kill Admiral Taidha Covington (50)
After we finish “Protect Bill and Hekja as they clear Risen from the area” to get the event chain going, we escort Bill Kinsey, Hekja Ravensbeak, and Lionscout Jenny to the sea. That triggers the “Defend Lionguard supplies from the Inquest assault” event which everyone does. Following we all swim back to Laughing Gull Island to start “Eliminate the cannons at the northern defensive tower” event. Now, this is where it gets buggy. As we swim towards the island, we get the prompt of “New Event Nearby” notification, but nothing is happening anywhere on or around the island. Last time we had about 30+ people standing around and wait for the event to pop for about 20-30 minutes and nothing. Although "Defend Lionguard supplies from the “Inquest assault” event keeps respawning every 5-10 minutes, even though we succeed every time it spawns. I’m pretty sure it might be a bug of some kind. If it isn’t would you be kind enough to tell us what we’ve been doing wrong or what we’ve been missing. Me and my guildmates have yet to fight Admiral Taidha Covington. And it seem like a fun challenge. Thank you for your time.
