There was a bug in which logging to your live character when you got booted out at the end of beta gave you the rewards popup window. It was reported in these forums at the time but I don’t recall any ANet response on it.

Now I still have a blue ? trophy item. What happens to that when HoT launches? Does it convert to the actual item? Does it get deleted? Do I get banned for hacking, or otherwise glitched out?

I’m perfectly willing to delete it in advance if that is advised. But I worry for the players who don’t frequent the forums and might have various ??‘s in their bags at launch, if it’s going to cause buggy things to happen.

When it comes to getting some kind of reward from a bug, best to be safe and delete it. It was very clear from all the popups and loading screen messages that it was intended that anything done during beta was not to carry-over into live.

Yeah, I agree. I’ll delete it next time I’m in game. That still doesn’t help the people who have them and maybe have forgotten they do or just don’t realize it’s a possible issue.
