My in game character on Sorrow’s Furnace bet on Moa racing. I bet on Monna, as I needed the third win to complete the achievement. Ozzyschach is my only dedicated character thus far, and is not max level yet. 50 silver is a rather important thing to my character, let alone the 1 gold and something silver I should have gotten. I bet on Monna and walked down to meet the Moas, never stepping outside of the track. I walked up with them, but they went ahead. When I reached the hill, they had all crossed. I heard someone thank me for recommending Monna, exclaiming they had gotten their first win. I did not receive the normal event notification letting me know if I won or loss. I received no mail with my rewards. I did not get the achievement either. I was not far away, and I have been notified of winning Moa racing likely farther than I was. I would like help, and I appreciate all the hard work you at Arena Net do. This just makes the game feel cheaper, as it leaves me feel cheated. Please help. Thanks for the continuing support to this wonderful game.

i had that happen to me a few times (4-5) and yea it cheapens it especially when it is 50s a bet and your bird places.

It needs to be fixed. It is basically alienating low level characters even further by raising the chances of them losing a lot of work.
