Guild Wars 2

I tried to log into the server multiple times with my main character. Each time i would get to the load screen and then it would crash asking me to send in a complain. I thought it was something wrong with my account so no big deal i would get it sorted out. Then something told me to try to get in with a sub character. So i tried that and i was able to log onto the server. Why is it working for one character but not the other? Im pretty sure im not banned i havent done anything to warrant that.

Interesting, what kind of error are you getting? Could it be that the location where the one character is might be too taxing on your hardware and causing the crash? Are you logging in from a different PC or something?

If not, and the PC you are using is strong enough to support the game, then it may be an issue with your account, but when you say it crashes that makes me wonder if it might be a local issue.

I am not sure what was going on to be honest. I wish i had a solution so that if this was to happen again to someone they would know what to do. But I tried to log on again and it worked fine lol

Tried to login myself and the same thing happens. I cant login with my character who is at Hoelbrak atm, stucked in loading screen. I can login with my other character though who is at Lornar’s Pass. Any help?

Oh just noticed the weirdest thing..The character I managed to log in, has no longer the same color armor as I left her with. She is reset to a previous choice I had…..

It seems that at least Hoelbrak and Gendarran Fields are bugged at the moment. If you try to enter those areas, or have left a character to those areas after last login, you can’t enter the game.. you get stuck on loading screen (eventually getting an error message). This started happening after the latest build, among with some other issues I hear. Hopefully they fix this asap, but right now I fear there is nothing that can be done to get around this.. except to log in with another character that is not in those areas. This is happening in Desolation server, don’t know about other servers.

yeah same problem. My main character is at Gendarran Fields. But i can play my other character. I hope they fix it asap.

All I can say for now is play on another character. An hour or so later try to log back in the with bugged character. Thats what I did and I was able to log back onto the server. Im on Crystal Dessert by the way I forget the area I was in

Gendarran Fields, Aurora Glade…

There are now several threads about this issue. It started after this mornings patch, and is affecting Hoelbrak and Gendarran Fields. I tried a repair without success, then tried making Norn a test alt. Was able to enter the game on the test alt, but again froze out on trying to enter Hoelbrak. Guess we wil just have to wait till they repair it.

All my characters that are either inside or in-route to Hoelbrak give me a never ending loading screen.

I could access one of my characters in Hoelbrak but not another one…

I have the same problem. When i logged out from guild wars 2 i left my main character in Gendarran Fields. When i tryed to log in again after 8 minutes the game grashed. since then i tryed to travel to Lion’s Arch, it crashed again like to other regions too. Also the last time, i couldn’t see the stats of the items or the abilities. I have heard that other players can’t sell their things.
I don’t know but i am thinking that everything in those regions at the time they were taking the patch down, is doomed :P
