Guild Wars 2

So, awhile ago I posted how linking stuff to my guild in WvW would crash all of us.

Well, I also figured out that I can also crash people the same way via PM, cross server, NA to EU etc.

I submitted a Bug Report and have filed multiple tickets. This is annoying for people im trying to PM but hilarious for me. Either way this needs a big time fix.

Please fix this.

This is not on my end it is in the game files, I have already tried to run a repair on my files nothing.

Its in my gamechat files. I can attach the log on request or you can contact me in game and I can show you my power.

Note: Only works If I am in WvW

Not fixed in this patch :c Have contacted many staff members. This is a glitch in my game files its not an OOM error I can crash other people this is a huge issue.

You should include all information you have on this exploitable method in an email and send it to exploits@arena.net for it to be looked at and corrected. I’m sure they would really appreciate your informing them of the issue via that method as things can get lost on the forums and not get the attention they deserve due to the volume of threads created each day.

There is nothing to stop someone going to another server with an alt account, and linking the bugged link into a chat to crash an entire boarderland, thus giving a massive boost to there own server…

The fact that this bug was reported weeks ago says it all, Anet should have disabled the ability to link any item in chat until the devs could find what is causing this bug and perm remove it from the game, as it stands, this is a game breaking bug that is still in the game since the teq update.
