everything was fine, i was doing dungeons, then i joimed a CM party, I zoned into the place on a wp next to the cm dungeon, and then i got dc’d and i’ve been trying to log in on my necro for the past 30 mins and after a long loading i just get dc’d and have to restart client…it only happens on necro

having the same problem with my warrior. i wp’d to ahrah dungeon and it just got stuck into the loading screen for cursed shore

I have the same problem with 3 of my characters. 2 of them i tried to wp to Arah Waypoint, and the 3rd i tried to walk into the map via portal, but now that character is stuck too.. I get the error where it tells me that the client has lost connection to the server and that I have to restart the client in a few minutes..

THIS. Exactly this, now it’s been HOURS, ok, and I still get THIS when I try to login on my necro…what is going on ? I’m glad i’m not the only one though, clearly it’s on Arena’s side

Same here… It happened just now to me and 2 of my friends. One tried to go to Bloodtide coast, the other one tried to go out of WvW and for me it happened when I tried to go to Fields of Ruin. Since I couldn’t connect and my guild was having a guild mission, I logged in on one of my other lvl 80 characters. I tried to go to Fields of Ruin again and…. He bugged out as well.
(Funny fact: we failed the trek mission, 10 seconds before we could get to the last point… If only my friend and I wouldn’t get affected by this bug……..)

I just had it too trying to wp in timberlandfalls, how you repair client?

I’ve got two characters stuck in frostgorge sound, getting disconnected when trying to log them in.

Edit: I did a -repair but that didn’t change a thing.

Edit2: Someone in my guild suggested guesting to another server and that worked!
I still hope it’s addressed soon, though.

Edit3: Sigh… the guesting trick onle worked that one time. I can’t zone into Lornar’s pass either now.

I cannot change maps… Now almost all my chars are stuck on loading map screen…

I’m stuck in the Black Citadel on my main. If I lose it…

Restart does not fix the issue.

I confirm this. Played normally 5 hours WvW with my Warrior, moved to PvE (Queensdale map) and now I can’t play the Warrior. All my other characters can be played normally.

Yep, a guild mate of mine is having a very similar issue – she cannot log into any characters that are parked in Queensdale, Fields of Ruin and Kessex.

Happened to me too, can’t log onto 3 of my characters.

I couldn’t log into my necro at all last night. Earlier today I could log in to him again, but now I’m getting the same error. He’s my only non-level 80 character, and he’s parked in Iron Marches. This is starting to get annoying.

In that thread they tell us (on page 2) to submit a ticket on the issue, they also encourage us to post there naming region, ISP & server

Actually I do not receive any error text. I have 6 characters stuck at loading map screen. The game do not show the POI discovered while loading the map, totally freeze…

They are working on a fix. It seems to be an issue that is affecting several different games. You can read the updated Dev posts in the link supplied above.
