Guild Wars 2

I’m working my way through Lornar’s Pass, but I can’t seem to get the Icedevil’s Needle Vista (map attached). I can get in position just fine, but when I hit F, nothing happens. I’ve also tried clicking on the View [F] prompt, but it doesn’t work either.

Not sure if anyone else has had this problem or if they’ve got any fixes, but I’m barred from ever getting the 100% completion bonus for this map until I’m able to sort this.

Thoughts?

UPDATE: After experiencing this problem for about 3 days, it just suddenly worked. The only thing I did different today is my character stood there for a good 10 minutes while I Alt+Tabbed back and forth between the game and my browser looking for solutions.

Same thing here, I can’t activate the view, altough I’m right at the top of the pole.
Funny enough, when I face away the vista and press F, my char turns towards the vista element, but does not activate the video sequence.
UPDATE:
Now the vista worked, I killed some Skritt and the only “permanent” thing I did was to unlock the POI north of the vista (where the group event takes place)

I’ve had the same exact problem. haven’t tried too much, but i still cannot activate the vista.

as i was typing this, i tabbed back to GW2 and it activated..

Make sure you aren’t still in combat, sometimes when you run past mobs they don’t reset until you move right away.

See the above poster’s remark. There is a veteran dredge on the same platform and a cannon both that shoot to keep you in combat. You will need to kill both, as well as any dredge that followed you up there, to get the vista. So long as you are in combat you cannot activate it.
