Guild Wars 2

I think since last update many items don’t stack with older versions anymore. Those I saw:
– Icy Runestones
– Trading Post Expresses
– Bank Access Expresses

Reason is that the old items are “Account bound on Acquire” while the new ones are simply “Account Bound”. Especially the runestones hurt as I need 100 of those for a gift in the Mystic forge and now I have 10 of one sort and 5 of another sort, unable to stack…

What can I do about this (e.g. any way to convert the older types to the newer types?

It’s a bug. Put them in your inventory, change maps, and then restack them.

Well the “can’t stack/won’t stack” bug has been reinforced with the latest patch so things that were affected by the bug from previous patch are falling foul of it again even though many of use used the work around of changing maps or logging out/in again with items in the inventory.

Now however some of them still wont stack like SP scrolls.. yes they are going to be phased out with HoT but until then I would prefer having my bank/inv slots not used up with duplicate items… bug fixing at its finest again ANET
