If you’re immobilized in mid air you cannot use any skills until the immobilize has worn off. This bug has been in the game since launch.

yeah that happens to quite a few time as well as crippled in mid air

well but devs don’t care about it -.-

More that they’ve attempted to provide a workaround and it didn’t really work.

Edit: Specifically when they did a ‘fix’ for this, I remember it working rather well and was a nice change although not perfect, but then we had another patch shortly after that it wasn’t working quite as well and then eventually it was back to what we’ve always ‘enjoyed’.
