So, My friend and I built a Guild together and somehow we gave it to a royal member of our guild somehow. Neither I or my friend knows how he got promoted to leader. Now we have a 6 months and counting inactive leader and hence we cant contact him to give us the leadership back. I need help on getting back my guild.

Unless you get in touch with your guild leader and he promotes someone else, you will not get it back. As you just said, you gave the guild to him. Why you and your friends gave the guild you built to someone else, was your decisions. If it was your guild, how can you not know why you promoted someone to leader?

Anet doesn’t get into Guild drama. End of story.

That’s a bit misleading. They don’t get involved in guild drama — that’s true. But they can sometimes intervene under different circumstances.

@OP: contact support. Provide them with the relevant facts:

• Data guild was formed.
• Last login of the current guild leader.
• Screenshot of log showing your contributions to the guild.
• Etc

It’s very unlikely that ANet can help. But it cannot possibly hurt your situation to politely request that they take a look.
