Incorrect password error and disconnected
Also experiencing this problem. I thought I saw that this was fixed a while ago but it is still happening.
Wanted to add that I have fully reinstalled since this began. No help. Still encountering this problem. I have fiber internet so I doubt it is that.

Same issue. Every other day or so I will be disconnected for “incorrect password” and kicked from the game. Frustrating when it happens and i’m in Fractals of the Mists and i miss out completely and my group suffers as well.
Yea this is getting anoying.. and im wondering what’s causeing it.
Is it just some random bug?
Is someone tryig to log into my account and the login server is rejecting them because they dont know my password and dont have my cell-phone for the authenticator code + booting me at the same time?
Whats the deal with this error that simply seems to come up randomly?
I’d realy like to have a Dev/GM’s responce to this… is this:

A security risk.. or just a bug?.. Is the game simply glitching and kicking us randomly, or is someone ‘trying’ to access our accounts?
This happened to me today, again. I spent an hour doing the world event today to get kicked out with the error “Invalid Password”. When I get back into the game the overflow I am put into isn’t even fighting the Ancient Karka.
It was so disheartening, that I cannot bring myself to want to play anymore.
Also happening to me multiple times a day. It makes it impossible to do dungeons, and it’s even risky doing story quests because you can get booted and have to start all over. It’s also ruined these weekend events since I was kicked and received no credit for all the work I did.
I’ve tried changing my password and retyping it in in the launcher each time. Neither has worked.
I just found this thread over in tech support. Last response was 3 hours ago so maybe we’ll get some word on this!
