Hey, I just discovered a bug relating the tonic. I was transformed while the patch came live. After the client patched itself, I logged in to realize that my character couldn’t use the Watchknight Tonic anymore (message says “You cannot use this item right now”).

It works fine on my other characters, but it’s odd that it doesn’t on the one who finished the achievement.

Somebody else having problems with this matter?

Yeah I can’t use mine either, I tried using it as soon as i got it; which was about 5 minute ago, and I crashed to desktop. Now its giving me the same message.
Must be an error with the patch.

no on your screenshot you can even see the new effect that is applied to your character after using this tonic

Looks like the transformation only lasts for 5 minutes and you get knocked out of the transformation if you are downed :/

Why is this even timed…oh look, we got into the form but we only last 5 minutes but cant get back in it for another 30? -_- waste of my time for getting the achievements.

Really Anet? Why do u take something that is cool, like this, and then put on stupid restrictions like that?

Now I feel cheated for buying the tonic. Didn’t even care about the achievement; I thought being able to keep that form while fighting was cool and that was the reason I bought it… seriously anet? At least put a description to warn buyers about that first… should have gotten the panda instead ;w;

The only use I’ve found for the tonic is when I take my charr into a JP (and only when it’s easy enough to complete in 5 min).
