Today I sank 40g in an attempt to buy 20k influence from the Guild Influence Vendor in LA on Gunnar’s Hold at approximately 10:30 pm GMT.
At first I thought it was an issue with the guild upgrades lagging, but noticed that the purchases were not logged in the guild log.

I allowed a 30min or so grace period, and periodically tested the vendor with 2s purchases to see if it would start to work. It did not.

I then proceeded to stand down from teh guild on all my alts and start playing with it that way, again this affected nothing.

I then noticed that I could get influence purchases to be logged by using vendors in other zones, after further testing we found that for multiple members of our guild this vendor in LA would swallow gold and not log influence, but work for other guilds we had if we respresenting them instead.

Money is taken, and the animation is played but it is not logged specifically for [OX] Onyxias guild.

I have searched for similar issues and found none, I hope this is helpful. :o

Sometimes it lags. I bought 1k influence for a extra bank that didn’t appear to register. I then bought 1k more influence and the total came out to be 2k, 1k more than I needed. It’s probably a problem with updating the guild tab, like the dungeon token vendors.

This all due to the same “time accounting” issue that existed with the WvW bonuses until month 4. This is why, when you look at your items up for sale, they say “a minute ago” when you listed them yesterday: and also why the tool tip cant tell what money you have for pickup, it cant tell the time to look at.
