Insane server lag/bugging during Teq-SBI
Just an observation that this sounds like the same issues wvw is having after the latest patch. Maybe something was broken.
We had some kind of the same problem on Fort Ranik (mainly Vizunah Map) the whole week-end.
Very weird behaviors with timers, several issues.
For example, when the defense phase reached 0 seconds, the attack on the batteries continued for another 10-15 seconds (whereas everybody had already left the consoles as the timer was previously showing 0 seconds).
Not everybody was seeing the same timer (sometimes 10-15 seconds of difference).
We had also the issue where Tequatl doesn’t fly away immediately when he reaches another phase but the defense event has already started (leading to players coming 20 seconds too late on the batteries).
Global Tequatl timer suddently modified (like 30 secs suddently added, leading to a quite confused situation).
All thoses problems have lead to several fails … quite annoying on such a difficult to set-up event.
We´re having the same issues at Far Shiverpeaks.
- Timer suddenly gaining about 30-1 min extra time, confusing everyone to how long there is actually left of the event (Not good for an event with a strict time limit!)
- Timer also showing a difference in time, up to a 1 min. difference in one case…..
- Major lag issues with especially skills, even Tequatl´s skills were lagging…
- Random waves with no attack animation (aka he didn´t raise his claw to smash the groud to create the wave). On the same note, he also spawned a random wave during the DPS phase after laser event BEFORE he should have…
- Turrets bugging even more than usual: The same targeting issues as OP reported + skills just not working even after hoppping off and on a few times.
- Tequatl flying off late and returning early during laser events.
Those are what I currently remember, but since we´re going to try Again today, I might update if more shows up…..
I really hope there will be a fix, cause this is making Tequatl quite annoying to fight and I worry if this continues whether people want to Invest time in killing him or not….

And all of yes to all issues. Tequatl is bugged, what makes this fight annoying.
All that crazy stuff was happening last night. On top of that, I had a bug where I could not use any of my skills (normal Guardian hammer skills). Weapon swapping did nothing. I Had to get hit by a wave to use my weapons again.

So today’s Tequatl attempt went unfathomably better. We managed to do it with around 4 minutes to spare but it was still buggy regardless. The first battery phase jumped from 20 seconds to 0, second jump from 10 and the last one didn’t jump at all. I, and some other people, noticed that the battle timer was going slightly faster than it should have been. Once the first battery phase started we had a minute added.
-It seems as if maps with large populations create massive amounts of server lag
-Some advice- we found it very helpful if we had individuals keeping their own time during the battery phases
-Also, I’m not sure if this is a glitch, but bloated creepers had 0 hp and they were invulnerable and moving (in SS below)
People still do this? O.o
And insane lag in Wvw since leagues, it’s a total joke when you’re fighting a massive zerg, can’t heal, can’t do anything except mash skill 1.
