Guild Wars 2

Not sure if this is a bug or not but often when I have recovered from the downed state I continue fighting then suddenly drop dead when I have over half my health left. Sometimes I kill the beast and then the game kills me before I can loot it, also with health remaining.

Are you a Warrior using Vengeance? Vengeance revives you have a few seconds, then instantkills you the moment it expires.
Were you downed twice prior? If you’d been Downed three times in a short duration you will instantdie the next time you should go down. It’s also not uncommon for a mob to chunk off half your life in a single blow.

I need to put an update on “Vengeance”:

When I use it and don’t manage to kill all my enemies, i get defeated. If I choose a waypoint or chekpoint (during personal story), after getting up I instantly get defeated again. This breaks two pieces of armor aswell.

You can trait vengeance to increase the rally chance on kill to 100%
