In the personal storyline quest “Intercepting the Orb” after completing the step “pursue the orb-carrier” my next step was to “Bring the Orb to the rendezvous point”.
At this stage, whilst carrying the orb, I decided to change one of my utility skills to Elixir B so I could cover the required distance faster. As soon as I did this the Orb no longer appeared in my hands. Returning to the rendezvous area nothing further triggered. Looking for the orb at it’s original location (where the carrier had been) or where I changed skills showed nothing.
At this stage I was forced to restart the quest.
Character is a human engineer. The utility skill was slot 7, changed from flamethrower to Elixir B.
