I’ve been waiting for a long time for invisibility to be fixed, but it still hasn’t been. I go invisible after just one hit of my opponent, yet they can still target me afterwards as long as they get a single hit. This is extremely annoying for us squishy thieves that rely on getting away from a bad engage by stealth (or gaining a better position) when they can just keep on smacking us even after we’ve gone invisible. This has been a problem since beta, along with quite a few others that I’ve been waiting months for them to work on, but still haven’t (like the crappy targeting system). This is mainly just me ranting, they probably will never fix this. I just need to blow off steam and let them know that I’m very disappointed in the obvious problems that haven’t been fixed since mid-beta when I started playing. I’m a sad panda.

Channelled skills are not interrupted by stealth, blind or hiding behind obstacles. Stealth successfully prevents further attacks/ skills and is not meant to be an interrupter.

I know. I’m not saying anything about channeled abilities. I’m talking about regular attacks. I see them do about two or three different attacks on me after stealth and it directs them right at me. I’ve noticed this with other people as well when I attack them. I can still shoot at them after stealth with new abilities.

Generally smart players will still auto attack or use easily targetable attacks in areas they expect a stealthed target to be, try being a bit less predictable when you use stealths? That may be one issue (and definitely is an issue for most nonskilled Thieves)

Invisibility is far from useless. In my experience, the best way to use it is to make one’s movement unpredictable. Stealth then dodge, maybe? At the very least, changing direction is helpful once invisible. As has already been mentioned, players can and will continue attacking with abilities that don’t necessarily require a target swiping / shooting at where they think the invisible opponent might be.

Invisibility doesn’t need to be adjusted to make it more powerful than it already is. Invisible does not and should not mean invulnerable. Being “squishy” is a play style choice. Every profession has access to traits and equipment to make themselves more durable. If the “get of of jail free card” target drop invisibility isn’t having the desired effect, it might be time to adjust your setup accordingly.
