Guild Wars 2

While completing Brisban Wildlands, I stumbled upon a glitch in the game that made me invisible to myself, other players, and all mobs. Red/aggro mobs ignore me even when I attack them and they simply regen back without fighting. I asked other players to confirm that I’m invisible to them and everyone said they can only see my name/title/level and mini pet.

I’m not sure if I should add the details in this post of how this happened but feel free to PM me in-game or I can PM you in the forums to give you a full report of how it happened. I will only share details if you work for Anet to prevent exploitation.

It happens often during MegaDestroyer event while you’re inside the volcano. Have no idea what causes it, you just go invisible but you still interact with terrain so you’re still there you just no longer have any textures. Sometimes you can swap weapons and get one to show up, commander tags show up, and the holo dragon wings sometimes show up. I’ve also noticed that other players can only see what I see – my commander tag, my weapon, my backpack, but not me.

Sent a PM to an anet employee about details on how to replicate it.

You also become invisible in Thaumanova Reactor Fractal after you disable the collider in the cooling chamber and then use the console to exit the chamber. I don’t know if it’s the same bug, I never paid attention if while being invisible at the end I get targeted by the Thaumanova Anomaly.

Ive turned invisible while just running in WvW. But I am visible to other players and still get agro. This seems to be happening since the last LS patch for me.

edit: I have to log out of the game and back in to become visible again
