Bailey, you are leaving sour comments all over the place, it is not appreciated.

I also noticed that the Human Bandits, Centaurs and Krait all appear to be guarding the Shore together across from where Kasmeer and Marjory are.
Sure looks to me that the three faction working together. My guild mates and I discussed capturing a Krait and waterboarding them. ;-P

It’s not a bug.
So it was intentionally designed to block access to locations needed for World Completion?
Please refer to the link posted above. All map completion have been moved and are still accessible. Even poodaboo has a new path.

Except for the “Help Doolsileep protect Moogaloo Village” renown heart. It’s now impossible to complete as everything related to it is now inaccessible.
Well, unless you REALLY want to wait for one of the two events that occur in the village.
- It’s not impossible to complete the map. I just finished the “Help Doolsileep” renown heart.
- Yes, the point is, in fact, to give invisible walls and deforestation without explanation. There’s a mystery to be solved and we will be able to watch it unfold.
In typical game worlds with relatively static content, yes, there might be, I don’t know, 10 kraits keeping up a defensive bubble. But I find it more interesting that we can’t even see what’s producing it.
And maybe it’s not even the krait. You can take a look at the witch’s cave using the nearby Vista — it wasn’t what I expected to see.
I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next.

Please explain the technique behind your sorcery, because I sure as hell can’t figure it out.

Not impossible, I started exploring and completed exploring all of Kessex Hills today and the invisible barrier didn’t cause me any issues. And I didn’t wait for any village events.
I just went and killed Krait over at Auld Red Wharf to the East of the village.
I love this kind of slow build up to some event or change or what have you. Brilliant.

We asked for a more “living” world, we got one, and people STILL complain. I love updates like this; subtle, undocumented, but big enough for speculation.
They expanded the radius for some of the sealed off POIs and I think moved a vista slightly so that you could still get map completion? Someone linked to the relevant thread above.
Also, yeah there’s no need to say mean (non-constructive) things, it’s not nice
Something awesome is going to happen there.

No, it’s called a force field. If you stick your head out of the water, you’ll notice that there’s a structure in place that reaches the clouds. You’re basically hitting the wall of the structure.
meeh, that black-cloud-force-field thingy is far ahead of invisible wall. there arent any good reason for that wall in water. i called it bug, arenanet seems not care too much about explanation and other forum member are blind for developers mistakes. i used to report bugs i saw in game to make it better, but if developers dont care, whats the point. i hope just for closing this thread or deleting it as i lost hope in some constructive answer and itll be full of blind followers soon.
@Macheek: Go talk to the npc’s in the new camp north-west of the lake, they explain to you that there is some kind of mesmer force field that prevent anyone to get in and hides whatever is in there. so yeah, its’ not a bug, it’s a very intentional magical camouflage.

well when are we going to be able to swim in this area? i would like to get the juvenile shark pet
FINALLY some underwater content coming! (I hope). I took a little swim and made my way around the perimeter. Looks as if the Lair of the Seawitch is smack-dab in the middle. Maybe this will mean a VARIETY of Aquabreathers? (Berserker’s, Shaman’s, Explorer’s, etc.) Exotics or better?
