I have had the dreaded “invulnerable” problem from time to time, but lately it seems it only got worse.
Last night in Fractals, at Cliff Side (I think that is the name of the one with the Hammer and the Seals).
Last boss fight.
After I get put in the cage (too many times if you ask me) and break out, the boss will be invulnerable for me for several seconds. Around 3-4 seconds.
At the same time, people in my party reported they do not have this problem.
If I get in the left top cage, as you look at the Giant and I try to hit the door of the cage, I am unable to break the door with normal attack. My Ranger will shoot one arrow and then will just stop. Pressing 1 will not do anything. AoE will do the trick or if I shoot at a mob through the door.
Other cages do not exhibit this behavior.
Pretty annoying.

Also, the map with lots of Harpies in an Asuran style building has been a pain recently.
Harpies on suspended stairs get invulnerable if I shoot at them from another stair, while I get hit and tossed around like a damaged doll.
The only way to do damage is to stand on the same stair as the Harpie.
This is more likely observed in the first part of the map. Pretty annoying also.

Would love a fix for this invulnerable problem.
Please, no one will farm the darn Fractals. The mobs do not re-spawn.
It makes me think that ANet cares more about the well being of mobs and their “fun”, than the player’s pleasure of playing and our fun.

I guess no one has this problem ; or no one wants this fixed?

No one expects it to be fixed. I get it all the time, but it’s not easy to reproduce. And if more obvious, flagrant bugs don’t get fixed in 8 months… I would not have much expectations about this one.

I have this problem after april or may patch.
