‘Sentinel Whiptail is searching for a powerful ally in Lamprey Grottoes’.
the devourer becomes invulnerable and event can not be completed. If you are able to complete this part the next event also bugs ‘Help the Sentinels clear a path across Lake Desolann’. All of this ties in to not being able to kill the devourer queen and get a drop for HOPE.

This event has been failing for years.

If you can fix it, that would be awesome.

Any kind of change to the event’s stability would be great. I remember when the devourer queen was the unlock for a specific trait, it was almost impossible to find a map that wasn’t stalled on “escort across lake”. Really the only workaround was to find a fresh map, which in turn was quite difficult as iron marches tends to be among the less popular.

It is definitely quite difficult to try to find out how it bugs since, again, you can never find a working map and follow it until it stalls.

I believe there is also a bug that sometimes pops up with the event, where Scalebrusher will stall at Modrem Gravelash. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Escort_Sentinel_Scalebrusher_and_his_devourers_to_the_pen.

What about looking at Bahing Bauxite Alchemicals event ? which is needed fo precursor crafting ??? O.o No? .. gg

any good news or updated news, this is the last step i need to finish HOPE.

Chain event still bugged and NPCs are standing around during the “Help the Sentinels clear a path across Lake Desolann” event.

I have sent in multiple support tickets on this bug and Anet has responded that they are working on this. This is one of the last steps I need in order to craft HOPE. My only question is that if Anet has been aware of this bug for quite some time, then why even utilize this event chain to gate an item needed in order to craft a legendary(ies)…. I am seriously perplexed Anywho, Good luck on the fix!
