Can’t join my part in the instance. It puts me in a separate instance.

Here’s the chain of events leading up to the problem.

We had a group of 5 initially come in for CoF, cleared most of it.

1 of our group members had to leave.

We invited another guild member to come with us. They didn’t know where it was, so I waypoint to the beginning and exit instance so they can find it easier.

CoF is now reset and the event to open has to be done again. So we help clear that stuff once he gets up top and when we zone in, we 2 are in the same instance but can not rejoin our group.

My friends and I have trouble with the Caudecus’s Manor instance. The problem is not with my other guildies but with my roommates. Those of us on the same internet can’t get into the same instance together.

We have only tried the first two dungeons and this is the only one of the two we have issues like this. After about 20 minutes of breaking party, regrouping, joining the same over-flow and re-logging we finally got it to work. But just today we wanted to do it again and couldn’t make it work no matter what we tried. I ended up taking in another guildy over my roommate.

Hey. Tried to do CoF with a bunch of friends of mine and i couldent join in the instance because i kept getting a constant error to check my network.

thing is. my friends plays on a US server and im on a EU server does that might have anything to do with it?

Because i know that you can group up with them and join other people from other servers. Had it done once before.

We had this issue with TA last night, approximately 2200 BST.

4 of us started the dungeon while waiting for the 5th to come online (4 from Gandara EU; one from Seafarer’s Rest EU; all in the same guild). We progressed past the first set of flowers, then invited our fifth. Two of us exited the dungeon. Upon trying to reenter, one returned to the correct instance, while myself and the 5th person were placed in a new instance. Repeated entering/exiting did not change this, nor did making everyone exit and enter once again.

In the end we disbanded the group entirely, and formed a new group. On re-entering 4 of the 5 were placed in the original instance; after I exited and re-entered a single time I was placed in the correct instance.

Had the AC separation bug happen twice. Happened in CM too, but relogging fixed that one, thank god.

im on Henge. Dungeon Arah. NONE of us seems to be able to get into the same instance. We had the same bug here about a week ago?

My group couldn’t enter Twilight Arbor as a group. At first each of us could enter and then found ourselves in individual instances. Then we reformed and found that none of us could enter at all.

Cant enter CoF at all!

Group of 5 attempting to enter Twilight Arbour after this latest build. I walked in first to create the instance, others couldn’t follow either by pop up or walking through. Tried with other members creating instance but the bug then kept all of us out, I could no re-enter.

I don’t know if anyone is giving attention to this topic since we have no response until now. I want to do dungeons without fearing that I will lose my progress every time someone in the party goes offline. Every time someone leaves the instance and try to re-enter gets placed in another instance.. this happened in AC like the 10th time for me

I finished LVL 80 instance and froze in cutscene in ending, i reported the bug but need to find out if i will be able to get the money and gear that it should provide since it wasn’t a chest and it was the final piece of gear for my char!!

This is a serious issue.

I’ve only completed one dungeon’s storymode because of how your instancing server works. 9/10 dungeon runs I’ve did resulted in one person leaving, or disconnecting. And you give us no possibility to replace this person because you sent the already formed party that’s inside and the new recruited person to two different servers.

Just a heads up on how we did a workaround for this.
We all ported to ascalonian catacombs and entered it, we then exited and went back to HotW and it let all 5 of us in.

Ascalonian Catacombs

Today I joined a party and entered the dungeon by walking to the entry point and accepting the prompt (other person was the “host”).
We were playing the 5 of us, then at one point 1 player went offline before the ranger boss. We kicked him out and I went in front of the dungeon to recruit someone new. from Plains of Ashford. In the end I invited my guildie and when we were trying to go back to the dungeon, we were moved to a different instance together. We were trying to leave the party and join again, but it didn’t help. We had to start everything from the beginning.

I cant believe that this is STILL happening.

Tried getting into Honor of the waves today. No matter what we did we got separated. Tried remaking, relogging we still get separated. No window pops up.

Arah:

During the event when you have to kill the minions of Zhaitan, I got killed and decided to respawn at way point, instead the game respawn me inside one of the cannons and didn’t let me move or do anything at all. During this time I had the message to hit F to leave as if I was using the cannon, however doing so only switched between my two weapons. As soon as my party progressed to the next stage, I appeared on the next ship with my armor colored green and still unable to move.

Re logging fixed this and allowed me to move however when the next event started I kept dropping from 67 fps to 1 fps, which constantly froze my screen. I’m running on a beefy build with an I7 2600k and 2 Gforce 580 Black edition, so I don’t think it was lack of hardware, all the event cut scene showed just fine in terms of FPS but the sound in each of them was glitch and would go on and off.

Tried to do CM story. The party could get in at first, but we all got separated in different instances. We left the dungeon and immediately got pop ups for cm story but could not zone in. We tried to walk into the zone, but it still would not let us in. All of us were over level 40 and had it unlocked. We also tried breaking the party, and then we all completely restarted our clients, but then when we tried to reform our party we immediately saw a pop up for cm story even though no one was or went in the instance and could still not get in.

I later sent a tell to someone in another party who was also trying to do cm story, and they also could not get in, and were having similar issues.

Arah Gate Bugged, Event is not triggering so we cannot enter the dungeon. Its happening on blacktide i don’t know if other servers got same issue. Happening 5 days now and nothing changing

Arah dungeon:
- Waypoint is uncontested but cannot enter the dungeon. Keeps giving an error about firewall/router is preventing me from joining even though no firewall or router changes occured… Happened after the server crashed on 9/23.

Can’t enter Ascalonian Catacombs.

It should give the option to replay story or enter explorable. It only gives explorable and when selected nothing happens.

1 out of 100 times I get the right message and I can enter, but my party can’t or gets seperate instances.

At this point it would be nice to hear an official update on this bug, there’s a ridiculous amount of players waiting to get in Ascalon Catacombs, yet no one has been able to do so for several hours.

no one can enter as it seems the NPC that starts the dynamic event to gain entry into the dungeon has bugged. Hence contested all the time and angry players.

Had a group with 1 person who was able to start it. Only 2 ppl were allowed in. Everyone tried to enter via the dialog box. Several hours later, i tried with another group. 2 ppl were able to start it. 3 ppl able to enter. I tried joining via dialog box, when i click enter, it does nothing. When i tried to enter via the portal, it only gives me the option to join story mode. wtf

- Was online and in CoF when the crash last night happened, I did one dungeon group successfully after the crash but our fifth member couldn’t get in so we 4 manned it. Since then I’ve tried 3~4 parties and atleast one of us (usually me) ends up in a different instance.

-Tried joining through pop up box, clicking it does nothing. Going up to the instance portal prompts me to start a new instance.
-One person starts, usually 2-3 max get in, rest get sent to separate instances.
-This has been happening in my experience since the crash last night. Tried 2-3 different parties since, and all have this issue.

-When we start the instnce, only he gets in and when I click the button to join, Nothing happens.
- Even if we do get in , we are all in separate instances
-This started sence yesterday, Tried 3 different groups and the same problem keeps happening

Trying to get into AC – Story mode

Tried everyone zoning in at once – All in separate instances.
All but one leave their individual instance and try to reenter – unable to enter.
Individual log out and log back in – unable to enter.
Disband group – log out log back in – reform group – unable to enter.
Change characters and change back – able to enter – all in separate instances.

I cannot access Arah on Sorrows Furnace to complete my personal storyline.

Server: Fergusons Crossing

Problem: Event’s outside the dungeon do not complete properly to unlock access to the dungeon, the end chain escort npc is bugged which results in waypoint/dungeon gate contested indefinitely, please fix.

I switched from Whiteside Ridge to Gandara, mostly just to do the dungeon CoF because the pre-event had been bugged for days in Whiteside. When I switched the Pre-event in Gandara started almost immediatly aaaand… It’s bugged…
Please fix this, it’s really annoying that wherever I go I still can’t do the dungeon. Don’t know if this issue is the same in all the other servers but it is in at least two..

It doesn’t seem to be just CoF either. Tried it in AC and the issue persisted. Whatever this patch did to dungeons seems to have caused this issue to crop back up again.

Both. If someone else walks up and triggers the dungeon, I get a pop-up dialogue, but won’t let me enter. If I initiate the dungeon by walking up, they can’t enter mine.

I completed SE Explorable right around the time the server mass DCed and all this weird stuff was happening. I believe it was the 23rd.

Any dungeon. I haven’t been able to get in with a party since the patch that added the 24-hour “server transfer cooldown” period.

Sometimes I manage to get in alone (or if I’m the first of the party to go in), but I find myself in a separate instance, without the other players.

Most times, I just click the “enter dungeon” button and nothing happens.

I had the same exact issue, basically copy pasted.

3 in total. 2 of us was able to get in but not at the same time. Once one of us was in, the other could not enter. The third guy in the group could not enter in neither conditions. And I believe one of us tried re-zoning before entering, that did however not work.

We did try relogging, remake the group, restart the client. No success whatsoever.

Not sure if related but I have also been getting alot of “That content has been temporarily disabled. Please try again later.” messages lately while roaming around doing events in different zones.

We formed a group of 5 guild members right after last nights patch (none of us had fresh transfers), all went to the plains of ashford zone and one party member enter the instance. Everyone else got the pop up box to join Story Mode but upon clicking nothing happened. We then tried a combination of things. First we thought one of our characters night have been bugged so we broke the groups down and tried entering in small groups to eliminate the bugged player. Not at anytime could we get players to appear in the same instance even in groups of 2. We disbanded/re invited the group etc, relogged and still no fix. At points we couldnt even get inside the instance solo, i would just walk upto the instance the box would pop up but upon clicking nothing happened, a relog seemed to fix this and i could get in solo once but if i exited the instance it was bugged again. After an hour of trying different things relogging zoneing regrouping we gave up.

We tried to enter TA in explorable mode, only to have one person per instance, if they could join at all. Most of the time, clicking the “Enter explorable mode (level 55)” would do nothing.
Then we tried everything we could imagine : all 5 of us close our games and launch them again / leave the group and regroup again / both of these / someone else tries to start the dungeon / someone tries to enter it alone and then invite.
But everytime, either no one could even start the dungeon, or someone could enter it but we wouldn’t be able to join him by clicking the join button. We gave up after half an hour of test, pretty disappointed.

Tried entering with a group of 5 by walking to the point. We got in the first time, but each of us was in a different instance. We left the dungeon to regroup, but couldn’t get back in.

EDIT: After awhile some members of the party could enter, but still had the individual instance bug happen.

unbelievably frustrating..made a guild with a buddy so we could work on our own influence etc…not only can we not enter a dungeon, but I can’t even represent the guild i made with him. Nothing seems to be working at all. I’ve had the same experiences with dungeons as everybody else here too

I was trying to get in Caudecus’s Manor. We had five people in our party. The pop-up thingy didn’t work, it just disappeared after I clicked join. I was able to get in and so were a few others from the party but we were all in different instances. After we left to try and re-enter it wouldn’t let us in at all. We had to restart the client to get back in the dungeon but then had the same issues of not being able to get in the same instance. Hope this helps! Rather annoying.

Dungeon: Caudecus’s Manor (server: Stormbluff Isle)

Alright, so I’ve tried twice now to get into Caudecus’s Manor now doing a variety of things. The first time I tried with 5 people, all on the same server as myself, and neither the pop-up box or running in worked. I tried relogging, restarting the client, reforming the party inside, nothing worked. We gave up. I tried again about 30 minutes ago to get in with 3 people on Fort Aspenwood and 1 on Henge of Denravi. Again, the pop-up box didn’t work and running in didn’t work. I tried relogging and the pop-up box didn’t work. However, when I ran in after relogging, I would get put in the Stormbluff Isle instance, rather than everyone else’s Fort Aspenwood instance. No one could join me in my instance however.

Not sure why there are not more posts about this.

Server: Borlis Pass. Dungeons: Arah and Caudecus’s Manor. Group of 5 of us were attempting to run this tonight. We can all join individually in our own instances, but we can’t join each others. We tried a variety of ways but nothing worked. Until we got put into overflow. 2 of the guys in the same overflow got in.

I really am surprised not more are posting because everyone on my server is having this problem, they have all just stopped doing dungeons.
