I just filed a support ticket about this but as the title says, one of my armor pieces isn’t in the very specific place I kept it in my inventory anymore. I’ve never had this problem before and can only think of the patch somehow doing something to make it vanish (I was doing just fine the past couple days and then out of the blue, poof). Sounds silly I know but it is what it is.

Are you positive the size of your inventory did not change, thereby ‘moving’ your item? That is a common anomaly for some players. A ‘search’ in inventory might turn up anything missing.

I’m 100% sure. I keep my alternate set of armor in a specific bag with nothing else in them. There’s a 90% empty bag above that one and the one before that. Hope that gives an idea of why I’m so confused.

Then, nothing to do but wait for the CS Team to address your issue.
