Hi!

I am level 375 in jewel crafting and when I go to the discovery tab of the crafting station, I can’t see any of my materials.

I have more than enough mithril, quite a few crystals, one filigree, etc. They should be showing up in the tab for me to discover new recipes with.

One single Brilliant Opal Jewel shows up in the tab, and a couple of first level pebbles. The rest of my materials are nowhere to be found.

I can craft already discovered recipes, so the game knows I have the materials. But as soon as I switch over to the discover tab, they’re gone.

I tried restarting the game several times, as well as my computer. No go.

Once you have discovered everything that you can for a particular material it will disappear from the discovery tab. If you are looking to go from 375-400 then you need to buy the recipes from the craft vendor. Pretty much the are similar to existing ones with ecto being a required ingredient. Do you have those discovered too?

I have many things left to discover; I was in the middle of combining crystals and filigrees, to continue putting the jewels together with settings + hooks and rings.

I have bought the recipes from the vendor, yes.

So, once I have reached lvl 375, I cannot discover any more recipes?

But then why does that one Brilliant Opal Jewel show up, while a Mithril Filigree doesn’t?

Here’s a picture of what I’m talking about….

In my inventory, you can see the Brilliant Opal Jewel, that shows up in the crafting tab as well.
None of my crystals show up, and neither does the mithril filigree.

I know for a 100% certain that I have not discovered all recipes for mithril.

I tried to manually pull components into the slots, from my bag. Doesn’t let me.

Of these, only the green recipes are discoverable – the gold ones are karma-bought from the Jewelery trainer.

If you have discovered all 7 green recipes that use a Mithril Filigree, it will no longer show in the discoverable tab because there are no recipes left to discover for it.

A screenshot of the list of recipes in the Production tab is kind of needed since that shows what you do already know – without which we can only assume that you probably have learned those recipes already. You can filter it to “Adept” and “Master” recipes to restrict the view to those that require at least 300 in the skill (via the drop-down arrow next to the search box).

OK, I’ll take a screenie of that too, once finished playing with guildies

I discovered 22 recipes for mithril, overall.
In any case… if Anet needs more info, they can contact me. I maxed out my jewelry crafting by doing Embellished Brilliant Jewels.
