Jeweling profession bugged?
if you’re looking to make rare jewels, you need to buy the recipes from the master jeweler to unlock them I think.

Already did that, the problem is they’re simply not appearing, according to the game I have no T5 gems to discover with.
hmmm. not sure then. maybe they can’t be used in discovery? I haven’t levelled a jewel crafter in a long time.
not sure if this helps, but the crafting guide here might help you get those last few levels, or give you ideas on what you can craft to get them at least.

I found a way around the initial method I was using, the guide I was using said they could be used via 5 ecto + gem or along those lines.
T 1-4 could be used in discoveries, but it looks like t5 can’t, and neither can T6 it seems, I am still looking into this as well, but they simply don’t appear
Jeweling profession is still bugged.
Can’t make anything with Orichalcum, I have the recipes to do so, but the gems don’t appear in my discovery list or are even acknowledged.
I can transform gems to the final tier, but I cannot use them they vanish.
Would like a bit of feed back on this if possible. Player or Dev wise.
Are you sure the stuff you are trying to do requires discovery? Have you looked up to see whether the wiki says the recipe is discovered or bought (or both)?
Are you sure you have reached the relevant discipline rank? Have you hidden any of the learned recipes via the search options (you can uncheck by rank/tier or by item rarity).
Beryl Crystal (a t5 gemstone) shows:
- Beryl Orb transmog, an automatically unlocked recipe
- three r300 trinket recipes, each of which uses mithril (and are discoverable)
- one brilliant jewel recipe — this uses mithril. Discovered
- one rank 375 embellished brilliant jewel recipe — this uses one ecto, mithril, and is discovered.
- The brilliant jewel is used for three r350 trinkets made with mithril. I believe those are discoverable
- The embellished brilliant version is used for three r375 trinkets, also with mithril. IIRC, also discoverable.
tl;dr I think you probably need to create some embellished or brilliant jewels and then discover the recipes using those items.
