Has anyone heard if they’ve addressed the bugs with Halbion? Specifically i’m referring to the Pre taking 30 minutes because the mobs won’t spawn and also not getting credit towards the daily but getting an event chest. I’ve done it several times from pre thru the Justicar kill and not gotten the daily credit so it’s not a matter of participation.

Still not consistently getting credit for the daily quest, even though I get an event chest. Last time it happened, I had just been bounced into the air, but this time I was on the floor DPSing away.

One additional thought, the Justicar spawned while I was doing the Bloodstone Champion event, which I completed. I arrived at the Justicar in time to finish the 50% event (kill the vengeful spirits) and then complete the last 50% of the boss. IIRC, the last time it bugged I finished the Bloodstone Champion event immediately before Justicar as well.

@Sabedra: if it happens again — and especially under the same BC→ vengeful spirits → 50% Hab, please also use the in-game /bug reporting tool. (You can just copy/paste your text above.)

That adds the in-game, “of the moment” data to the report, giving the QA team more of the inputs they need to replicate your experience, i.e. the first step in trying to fix it.

Event contribution is extremely inconsistent. Sometimes you can get gold participation without even being aware that you participated in an event while other times you can be actively trying to do an event and only scrape by with bronze or nothing.

I don’t think those are alike at all. Most of the pre-events there are over quickly, it can be hard to tell what foes count, and there are a variety of passive ways to contribute. Regardless, getting credit for the event counts towards the Caledon daily four (and not getting credit doesn’t count).

In the case of Hablion, there’s no question about whether hitting Hablion counts or not, the event isn’t over that quickly. Regardless, one shouldn’t ever be able to get credit for the event itself without also getting credit for the daily.

It’s possibly based on loot credit, meaning only the first 50 or so people to tag him will get it, and you probably have to stay within loot range.
