Sorry Anet, but your fix today did not work for my overflow. The chest is still invisible even though I contributed to the Karka’s queen death. Back to the drawing board.

Queen chest not showing for me either.

Slight update. After a fourth killing of the Karka Queen I finally could see and loot the chest. Sheesh, like the RNG isn’t bad enough in this game, but they handicap you on even looting.

Still getting an invisible chest when the queen is dead – I can not loot from it but i can find where it is as I cannot walk through it.

The fix did work, but was not a fix for the chest:
‘Fixed a bug that would cause players to not get the achievement when defeating the Karka Queen.’

So it wasn’t a fix for the chest but for the achievement.

The chest bug (if it is a bug) still exists.
And I’m saying it’s not sure if it is a bug. There has been some critism bout other world events. This ranges from people saying it isnt fair that people who put one arrow in the shadow behemoth, to those saying that melee characters don’t have enough time to deal one hit at the final boss for the maw. So it might very well be that Arenanet has implemented a different reward trigger for this.

Having said that it, reading on the reports of players (I did the event once yesterday and got my chest the first time) it does seems to be pretty buggy.

I would love some more info from people on how much they actually contributed and when on the entire meta.

So:
- Did you do any of the prequests (defend settllements) to help the queen spawn?
- Was she allready up when you arrived?
- Did you fight her in both fases?? (once she has reached zero health she goes back to 50% of her health, starting fase 2).

I think this info would help the dev’s a lot if this means we can pinpoint the problem.

I thought the world chest only shows up once a ‘day’ on boss kills. Is it supposed to show up every time on the Karka Queen?

As far as I know the world chest on the floor is once a day per character. The pop-up is once per account per day.

So just as normal.

As I said it worked fine for me the first time yesterday and I havent gotten around to do it today yet.
