Q:
Karka queens Scaling bug or intended?
there are other creatures in events (like some temples) where the bosses hit for the same or more damage in a single attack, and unfortunately unless you can predict the event coming there is little you can do about it.
thankfully most attacks just leave you in the downed state so you can be revived.
right like steam pipe that is right next to the queen. but however the event becomes defend in about 5 minits or less. witch can get extreamly fustrating cause now you got champion popers and champion’s karkas running from that event to the queen cause people run throw or try to run throw the steampipe event. when the queen pops the entire map rushes to her thous causing more scaling and more lag.
I have total sympathy for arena net trying to balance this game with all its dynamic events and scaling, it’s not an easy job!
culling is a serious issue to gamers now that we know when events will happen there are more people crowded into smaller areas, this bug/feature has been reported many times and I’m sure anet are looking into possible solutions (they have to, otherwise people will stop playing, if there is no chance of winning due to bad design)
it’s good that players provide feedback so they can see the impact/frustration it has to the gamers, but have faith that they will look into this, even if they don’t reply to every single thread posted.
