The game keep disconnecting every 3-5 secs. it`s not a connection issue because it`s not happening to all my characters nor all location for example, it`s works fine in mists waiting PVP but disconnect after while i get into pvp.

I have the same isue since yesterday patch. HAvent played for a few days and now im getting annoyed with the disconnections.

My problem has been solved, when i disabled all non system services, i wish that help u too.

I have also been getting disconnected awfully lot after the latest patch.. Not a single DC for about a year and now I have scored 4 or 5 DCs in half a day.

this bug is really annoying ,i can’t join instances ,most of the maps ,chat works while not being able to move or use skills till i get the dc message

This is happening to me also, really really frustrating. Connection is perfect, then out of no where, full lag leading into dc then this message.

Happening every 10 mins now and i dont know why. Never usd to happen until last week or so.

Please look into it, its making the game unplayable and i KNOW ITS NOT MY INTERNET. As i have no issues outside the game

UPDATE: These dc’s only seem to be happening frequently in pvp servers. Sort out your pvp server anet, i know i’m not the only one.

WvW (rare occasion) and pve is fine but i cant last 5 mins without lag then a total dc in pvp

the same error here i cant play just started to get it today past 20 days nothing work great but today uhmmmm i cant play im crying i cant join my friends

here’s my last update on the subject ,upon entering an instance i have to stay still not move or use skills for at least 3 min ,then i won’t dc ,which rules out the possibility of it being MY NETWORK issue ,please fix this bug as fast as possible.

Same issues here inside sPvP matches. While I wait in the lobby or I am doing Pve, everything works fine and my ping stays around 50. When i join sPvP match, the problems begin. Connection drops, and huge lag spikes, which makes the game completely unplayable. Today I tried in second match i was stuck on the loading screen, and after reseting the game, i connected only to see this. After a while I got disconnected again. Please Anet, i payed quite a lot of money since I joined the game, and I want to play what I payed for. This kind of problems began after the game went free to play, and it got worse since the last patch. Fix it!

TBH i tho its not my internet problem and its the server problem buy i tried something
loging and type /ip at chat
take the ip call ur ISP tell them that u have a packet loss this ip ( xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ) my ISP support told me he will restart a port then i have to restart my router i did that and now no problems

Thank you for the suggestion. To be honest, i havent tried to restart my router or calling my internet provider, but ill do so now, just to double check on their end.
Frankly i still don’t see how can it be on my end, since everything in the game outside sPvP works just fine, just like my connection in other MMO i used to play, but havent touched in ages, and went into it to see how my connection fairs there. Everything worked like a charm with minumum ping. All of this is letting me to believe there’s some connection issues on their servers, and somehow not the entire sPvP base is affected by it, since many people said in map chat they don’t have any issues at all.
Still i will go and ill make a double check to see if anything changes after i restart my router automatically.

Everything done, called my internet provider, which in return they assured me that everything works fine on their end, and I shouldn’t have any connection problems. Tried once, then twice to restart my router. Nothing. The situation is even worse. The connection drops are much more then before, and this time not only in sPvP. Im getting connection drops everywhere in the game followed by black screens and a need to restart my game entirely. Can any Anet staff member respond to this, because it’s more then clear now the problem is not with me. Everything else outside of the game is working perfectly fine.
