Firstly please search the forum before posting, lots of new players are confused about this skill. Secondly it has not been this way since launch, and is working as intended. Keg brawl is a game that requires skill and tactics and is not just about standing in a big pile on the keg. Treat it like American football. There are plenty of ways to counter the long lob. As someone with Kegmaster and in a keg brawl guild I can assure that there is nothing wrong with it. When you don’t know how to play, please don’t assume it is a bug.

To clarify, this is working as intended. To replicate the “exploit” pick up a keg, aim your camera in the direction you want to throw it, and press 2. You can throw as far as you like however it is very hard to aim and requires a great deal of skill to score from range. Punch, charge and stomp all interrupt the cast. Because it is not immediately obvious how to use the skill, newer players will often assume there is some cheating going on.

Lob used to have a ground target, but this was removed deliberately to allow for longer throwing. When you get a keg from the guy outside you can see it still uses the old version. Just because the mechanics of this skill are different from others in the game does not mean it is broken, and if you don’t like the way it works, then post in the feedback/suggestions forum.

As for the image you posted, it is regarding an exploit that can be used to shorten the cast time of lob? I have never seen this exploit (and I have played a LOT of keg brawl), and you certainly didn’t mention anything about cast times in your initial post or explain how to reproduce the issue. Please elaborate if there is an actual bug, and you aren’t just complaining about the range of the skill as it is intended.
