Omg so many, 10+ nearly 20 or so. I started to report them but it just got overwhelming.

Some guy in all chat commented that if I wasn’t prepared to report them all I should just keep quiet about it…..

I more inclined to think that response times to botting should be quicker by Anet. Bots I saw in the morning were still botting some 8 hours latter when I came back (Plus a few new bots).

Personally it completely kills the immersion of the game.

A warrior, a guardian, and an elementalist walk into an open field…
The Warrior turns to the guardian and says, “Did you hear something?”
Guardian replies, “No, but how’d the elementalist die?”

how do you recognize those bots? i believe i saw 5 bots (all names looked alot alike each other). they were in queensdale at the garrison, all ranger’s throwing axes in the length of the bridge, also the 5 axes and healing skill was done alot when there wasnt even a mob nearby, this happened on all 5 charracters. i know that a event takes place there wich causes centours to storm the garrison. but with those people there its just a deathtrap! poor centours i reported them all for botting.

I’m not arguing!
I’m simply explaining why I’m right.

Honestly I think its kinda obvious once you start paying attention. They tend to ignore you when you trolling them for being bots

Seriously though, bots are designed to do repetitious tasks over and over and (obviously) aren’t human controlled.

With that in mind you observe them attacking using the same moves, follow the the same movements and almost be ‘robot’ like in nature. Typically ranged toon, Rangers with bears have become the most popular toon to use. However I’ve seen ranged warriors too.

What I’ve noticed too is that many bots are ‘grouped’ together following the patterns. I guess because friends/guilds/organisations are sharing code once a successful bot code has been created. They are becoming more and more elaborate with some bots traversing 1/4 of the map.

Hope that helps some.

Please, refrain from opening additional bot threads as they don’t help.
