As the title says, the daily meta achievement “Key Maker” does not give credit when you make an Aether Key. I, as well as 4 other guildies made a few, none got credit.

Same here. It’s bugged I assume.

Same issue. Made one key, then another just to see if it repeated – no achievement awarded.

I just made two and neither counted for me either… just like the puzzle one the other day didn’t work, did two of those and neither counted…

Same, just made 2 key’s and no daily for it.

Just came to remark on this issue. It would figure the living story event daily bugs out.

Yeah came here to check if this was a bug or I did something wrong somehow. Made a key in Metrica before fighting FE and didn’t get achievement.

Worked fine for me a couple of days ago though.

Made a key, no achievement, also worked the other day.

I thought it didn’t work because I was in the Mists (sPvP) but now I see it might be generally bugged.

Yeup same, as you can see on the left side of the screen, I crafted one but no achievement :S

Bugged for me as well. I was in lion’s arch.

Same for me………………I was in divinity reach.

I also tried making a key and it did not work.

I also need 1 more achievement for the Twilight Assault living content so maybe this is blocking the daily?

Has anyone else completed 9/10 and the daily won’t complete?

I made 2 keys and no go for me either. I ended up spending 20 silver on dyes to Mystic Forge instead because I’ve been PvEing all day and didn’t want to grind out a PS or Aquatic. At least I got two 13 silver dyes out of it.

I’m having the same problem. I made 2 keys and didn’t receive credit, completely exited game and restarted, made one more key, and still did not receive credit for the achievement.

I made 2 keys. One in LA, one in Queensdale. Im at 8/10 for the meta and the keymaker daily did not pop.

Heres hoping credit will eventually be given. Im kind of relying on the daily metas to get the living world achievement done.

Happening on my server too, submitted a bug report.

Also here to confirm this is also a problem for me, regret wasting the silver on extra key bits. Also someone else in DR chat on my server said they had the problem, also had another friend with the problem. Oddly enough didn’t have this problem the last time Key Maker was up though.

Same here: GoM, in Hoelbrak.

Same thing happened to me on two different characters in Lion’s Arch on Maguuma server. I logged completely out and back in to fail a third time. I hope we all get credit for this.

Made 2 keys no achievement. Once in snowden drift, once in lion arch.

made 5 keys while doing world bosses and dragons (diff maps) , nothing works.

Having the same issue – would there be any planned fix for this before reset, or maybe change to a different achievement?

I’m having issue with this as well… sitting at 7/10 on the living world meta and was relying on the dailies to hit the meta achievement as well. Hopefully there’s a fix for this, or the new roll-out on Tuesday doesn’t kill my ability to complete this meta and we’re allowed to keep working on it (was hoping to do the 3 dailies in 3 days before the new living world meta came out).

One day it wasn’t bugged, another day it is bugged. Please let us know why this happens. What are you doing?

Same problem here. Tried in EB, my guildie tried in LA. Both failed to trigger the daily.

Same happening here too, ANet should refund us the key pieces we’ve used.

Just tried in LA, but no credit given. Tried with another key already in inventory, then a second time with no keys in my inventory. No luck.

Bugged for me, too. Just made a key and a second one to double check that there is no progress of the daily achievement. Seems that Anet has found a way to break things without going through the hassle of patching the game.

Do the appropriate people view these bugs? hopefully it can be fixed an have our keys reimbursed. Its the principle of the matter not the price.

^ this and there is no monetary incentive for ArenaNet to fix it.

And let’s see if this get’s fixed or retroactively compensated at all (or in time for people to get progress towards the LS meta achievement). I don’t care about the key pieces. I do care about being one achievement point closer to completing the meta.

I’m having exactly the same problem. Gathered up the pieces and put the key together while standing in Lion’s Arch. No credit given towards the meta achievement— I’d already completed my daily.

Tried it in LA (against my better judgement), and tried it in the dungeon (explorable, lvl80 path started) and still no cigar. Or backpack rather…

On 9/10 and I have tried to make the keys for my last part.
I tried in LA and Frostgorge sound. Both made keys but failed to register the achievement.

For me the same… tried it 2 times, LA and Iron Marches

Made two in WvW, but didn’t get the point. Would be cool if they give us retroactive achievement points when it is fixed.

The same problem for me. 2 keys created – no achievement.
My daily was not completed at that time.

I already had the daily and the meta, just wanted the achievement point.

Same issue here on Devona’s rest, 2 keys made, no achievement progress
