+2 more to the made-some-keys and did not get the achievement pile (friend and I tried a few times in different servers).

Well… This issue only got 8 hours left before daily reset…. I doubt Arenanet will do anything about it since in their minds, it’s ONLY 1 achievement point.

I don’t know if this matters, but I purchased 2 key pieces from the TP to make the key. Another player asked in map chat if the achievement was broken, so I purchased 2 pieces to make a key and test the bug. Maybe all the pieces need to be found and not purchased?

Keep trying. Eventually you will find a group which wont kick you for dcing

I wonder why its bugged. This daily happened 3rd time not and the last two times it was working correctly.

First I thought I didn’t get the point because I already had a stack of keys, so it was increased instead a new key added. So I got rid of the stack and tried again.
Nothing.
I tried several characters, and nothing. Either.

It seems that the achievement itself is bugged.

Note to ANET: You need a new entry in the first drop-down menu of the in-game bug reporter. I tried to make a bug report but there’s no section where this particular bug fits.

It’s Sunday, so it’s unlikely it will be fixed today.

Tried to craft 2 keys, and no achievement for me either.

Add me to the list made 2 keys and didn’t get the achievement…

yup, no chance to get it either now, I’m got a flight to catch early in the morning and with region locking, can’t play over in america…

It didn’t work for me, or my guildie, either.

And, to reiterate…you can play the game from anywhere in the world. My SO travels from abroad to America quite often, and there is no problem playing, just need to authenticate, if you have that set up. Which, of course, you should.

Seems inconsiderate to me there is two pages of posts noting this bug (which happened to me too) and ANET has not commented on this with less than 10 minutes to server reset. Thank you ANET.

1: Yes this bug is serious, the amount of pages isn’t saying a lot everyone is affected and 99% of the people aren’t complaining here cause they see the thread and move along or hear bout it from guildies or in mapchat
2: It is sunday. Do you really think they should take time comment?

You can argue that they should have fixed this before the daily is over. But personally I disagree. Most people got their achievement for the overaching TA living story. some can be effected. For the daily there where a lot of alternatives. So though a lot of people are affected the impact on their gaming pleasure is low. The result of having a hot fix would be a reset off the WvW matches. This not only kitten es the WvW community off big time, but it has also a lot of effect on the ranking. This ranking is important to the upcomming tournament and the rewards everyone on a server can get.

I rather hope and see that anet does two things.
a: for the upcoming halloween, update one of the easier achievements veryone playing will get with one ap to compensate for this.
b: lower the amount of achievements for the overarching achievement for TA living story with one and give the people who got it maxed out then the backpack and the ap’s for that. If thats not possible atleast track down the people who are missing the achievement and sent them a backpack manually as compensation.

This will ensure that everyone will be happy in the end and it all can be done with the next big update.

Jet lag means I’ll be sleeping, so I’ll miss the end of the event
I have meetings to goto, not gonna bust my kitten to finish this broken meta achievement when I could be sleeping

Eh, just drop me one point towards TA – Anet. No one I know wants to go near the new TA path so we’ve all done other dungeons or killed Aethers or made keys for the meta.

I have 2 points left to get. Today should have been my last day.

Would love to see the content for Halloween be good as well but my expectations are low as this content has been here for nearly two weeks and they are still having bugs in daily rotation.

To answer your question about it being Sunday and wondering if I believe ANET should comment on it, the answer is yes. The consumer base to their game have posted about the issue and corroborated the issue yet ANET has not commented on the issue in any thread that posted about this bug. To ignore your consumer base tells your consumer base you do not care. There is no comment about them even being aware these postings exist. I’m sure people would be more satisfied even if an ANET representative posted they read the thread, would have their “expert” technical staff take a look into it to ensure this would not happen again (as they’ve stated a number of times before), but would not be able to fix the issue without it doing more harm than good (similar to the monthly – or 72 hour achievements, they screwed up in the beginning of September).

this bug hit me too yesterday, so well… i guess we have to live with it.
hope such bugs get fixed before they move those tasks to the dailies (maybe they should test their daily achivements?).

First time I saw this achievement I was able to do it and get credit but since have not been able to get credit once I make the key and I have tried twice now, so definitely bugged.
