Guild Wars 2

I’m not sure if this is a bug with my keyboard or the game, but I will explain the bug. I am using the Mac client.

I have Q bound to strafe left and W bound to forward, heal skill is A. If I hold down Q and W (so that I’m walking diagonally forward and left), I am unable to use my heal skill (A). I do not however have this problem if I hold down W and E and use A (forward-right while using heal skill).

I have tried binding A to other utilities skills, in each situation I still have the issue of not being able to use that skill while walking forward-left.

Test your keyboard with http://www.elitekeyboards.com/switchhitter.php
Press the key combination and see if it works.
Some keyboards do not support some key combinations.

Extending what Deepcuts said: this is caused by a physical limitation of the keyboard. When you see a fancy gamer keyboard advertising “six key rollover” or whatever, that’s not just marketting fluff, it’s actually a design that doesn’t suffer that limitation.

Comes down from using minimal wiring to detect which key is hit.
