Hi everyone! I tried to complete this achievement (Kill the Hydra Queen) with my guild now, and we killed the boss, but I didn’t got the achievement! Everyone else got it, who doesn’t defeated the boss before, so I think there is a little bug in my achievement system. I opened the chest after the event (I got the personal chest too), but the achievement is still missing… I don’t want to do it again, so is there any chance to make completed this achievement, without doing all of the preevents again?

Which server are you on it seems to be bugged on HoD.

Hi everyone, i also have this bug , i play on Desolation server, I completed event, got personal chest and big chest but no achivement. I hope there will be solution to this soon and i wouldnt like that i need to wait again 2 hours to even start event then not even achive anything with it .

I assume Lionsguard Jenny was alive at the end? Thats otherwise one of the requirements for the achievement…

I have gotten this achievement on SoR in the last two days, I don’t remember exactly when, but I believe it was Saturday. So it does work under some conditions on at least one server.

I have killed the Hydra queen twice while on Blackgate and neither time did the achievement update. I haven’t tried since moving to ET since I wanted to make sure it was fixed.

i also remember that you cant be downed or dead during that achievement. if you are you wont get it.

I literally just finished this fight and did NOT get the achievement. Waiting for months for this and nothing. We even had to do the Pre-event 3 times before she even spawned. Please fix this. I would rather not do this again….

Another case of that. I was not killed nor downed during any part of it, others in the group have stated they got the achievement, I got Silver reward, the large chest, a rare, but the achievement is still blank.

Server is Henge of Denravi.

I’m on the Piken Square server and the bug still don’t fixed. On the event, I didn’t died or downed and still, I didn’t got the achievment, just the chest.

A guildy had the same issue when we did it however i got the achievement i don’t know a fix but i know it should be fixed

I can confirm this. We just killed her on Underworld. Some people got the achievement, me and many others didn’t. One guy from our party got it, the rest did not. Neither of us was downed during the battle.

I still got the bonus chest and boss chest. So I’m not sure what the issue could be.

Killed her on Stormbluff Isle, no achievement. I’ve killed her like a week ago on SoR as well, no achievement either.

Same problem :\ For two times (Server: Gandara and Baruch Bay) I completed the “Hydra Queen” meta event, get the bonus chest and the boss chest, but no boss Achievement ._.

Hope they fix this soon…

Still not fixed, come ooooon arena net….

Edit: I also have the same problem with the achievement “Svanir’s Bane”.

You need to get a gold or it won’t trigger the achievement
