I helped kill “Champion Rhendak the Crazed” in the Flame Temple Tombs, however, the chests left behind were still locked. No one in the group was able to open the chests either.

Same problem, the adventure was fun though!

I just did that same temple and your right the chest stayed locked and there must have been like 9 of us that defeated him and nothing happened. He never dropped anything and we couldnt open the chest either.

Happend to me too.
There were two chests there, one locked (on the right) and one open (on the left). Non of them could be opened for loot.

A few days ago I encountered a different problem. Rhendak got stuck behind a wall, unable to attack he could still be attacked. Dropped loot and one of the chests could be looted.
There’s been several patches though so not sure what the present state is.

This is still an issue. A group of maybe a dozen of us killed Rhendak who got stuck in the ceiling. Didn’t drop, couldn’t open chest.
