It seems the Kodan Claw (Defeat the Largos attacking the Song of Final Exile) is bugged. A bunch of players are waiting for the event to spawn for the collection of the legendary weapon, but the Quaggan event that triggers this event is bugged. People have been saying it’s been like this for awhile and they have been checking back in every few hours. “Escort the Quaggan Emissary to the Kodan Camp” Is the event that is bugged. All help is appreciated so we can get back to crafting Chuka!!

Unfortunately for bugged events there are only two options: a) wait for a new build and enter the map, hopefully it will work, b) get a large amount of people to fill an overflow, so it opens a new one with a brand-new event.

I’ve been there, it sucks.

FWIW, it’s maybe not as much fun, but I understand some folks have had success with a support ticket, explaining the situation, leading to CS mailing them the collection item and allowing them to progress without the event being completed.

Sadly, at GDC anet revealed that they can’t really kill individual map shards easily, so it’s probably hard for this to end up resolved any way other than “natural” load at this point in time.

I have haunting Snowden Drifts waiting for this event to spawn. Need only Hunter’s Bane to progress.

After doing a Google search, I see this has been a problem almost from release of Chuka & Champawat.

I have been waiting for this event as well. I submitted it as “bugged” and opened a ticket. Maybe we all can get together and do the event and if we get enough ppl the overflow map will be triggered. Just a thought. Hope they fix this soon. Seems to have been bugged for a long time now.

OK just minutes after submitting the ticket I was mailed the “hunters bane” from Anet! Great job Anet!… So everyone just submit a support ticket!
